Schapol History

Schapol Lumber-aerial view

Schapol Lumber started in 1981, about 7 km east of Enderby BC in the community of Ashton Creek.

Originally this was a two-man operation sourcing power from a diesel generator.

Over the years the company has progressed and now employs 25 people, producing a variety of dimension lumber, rail ties, and customized rig mat blocks (for the oil and gas industry).

The majority of lumber production comes from Hemlock, Fir or Pine logs, sold in the rough and graded to Standard & Better or 2 & Better.
